Now CNG
& LPG in bikes!!
TVS, a
Chennai based Moto Corporation Company, is planning to launch CNG/LPG Kits for
two wheelers. TVS is expanding its R & D department towards it and going
ahead in its Innovation department as its competitors HERO and BAJAJ are
forwarding their market in four wheelers.
TVS is
developing a bike which runs on CNG, a fuel-injection variant of the 160cc Apache
RTR, and a hybrid scooter besides LPG, it would be a 125cc engine but with a
power of 100cc.
There are
some issues in its cylinder, as cylinder has a lot of weight, and carrying on with
such a heavy cylinder increases the weight and cost of the bike, but it is in
development stage and way outs of it are being finding out.
Hope we will
able to see this in future, and can enjoy lost cost driving as compared to
petrol.
